Since the inception of my business, Love Ground has continued to blossom with the creation of unique candle fragrances and homewares enjoyed in homes throughout the world. Love Ground was birthed when I realized that something was missing from my self-care regimen. I spent years advocating for youth in foster care and I knew that I didn’t want to neglect my love of working with children & families, but burn out was finding its way in. I realized that in order to effectively pour into others, my cup needed to be full. A healthy balance was needed, and I desired to create more which gave me an outlet from my 9-5.
I decided to begin creating again, doing more things that made my heart leap. I took a candle making class, and after a lot of independent testing and learning the art of candle making, Love Ground came to life in 2015. I’ve always had an infatuation with candles, and they have always been a part of my daily wind down. While I continue to enjoy motherhood, advocacy, love of plants and all things of nature, my candles have become an intentional part of my self care regimen.
Love Ground represents a sacred place. A place where love and light dwell. It’s intentional self-care and surrounding yourself with the people and things that keep you grounded.
